We are all on a journey to become who we were originally designed to be, fearfully and wonderfully created by the God of the universe!
This journey requires movement––to find your place and pace as you move toward God’s promises over your life.
Your Mannahouse family wants to partner with you are you move UP, IN, and OUT on this journey.
Your first step is to join our Starting Point class. Here, you can learn about Mannahouse and receive an invitation to join our community of Christ-followers. Starting Point happens during Sunday morning service after worship. Come to service as usual and when it’s time, your service host will introduce your teacher(s) and direct you to your classroom for this friendly, one-week experience.

A People of Faith: witnesses to decades of miraculous provision, thousands of transformed lives, and world-wide impacting ministries such as Mannahouse Music, Mannahouse Christian Academy (MCA), Portland Bible College (PBC), missionaries, and church plants.

A People on a Mission: disciples who move closer to God (UP), closer to Church community (IN), and closer to the world around us (OUT).

The history and legacy of Mannahouse is filled with pivotal moments, miracles, challenges, unexpected events, stories of faith, and above all, transformed lives. From its establishment, the church has expanded to a community spanning four campuses with thousands of members. The enduring values we have upheld for years are the very values that will MOVE us into the future.
Yes! Water baptism is the first defining moment of a new Christian and a step of obedience. We practice baptism by full immersion in water, which is the way Jesus was baptized and the way the Bible describes it.
“Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, ‘Brothers, what should we do?’ Peter replied, ‘Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'” (Acts 2:37–38 NLT)

Yes! The Holy Spirit is the person and power of Almighty God who comes to live in us.
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever.” (John 14:16 NASB)
We encounter the Holy Spirit in predominant ways…
1. You are born of the Spirit which happens at the moment of salvation. (John 3:5 NLT)
2. You are baptized in the Spirit after salvation to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. (Luke 3:16; Acts 1:8, 2:4, 8:14–17, 10:44–48, 19:1–6 NIV) The primary evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit is speaking in a spiritual language (commonly referred to as “speaking in tongues”). (Acts 19:2, 6 NLT)
3. You are filled continually with the Spirit, part of an ongoing experience of living a Spirit-filled life. (Ephesians 5:18–19 NIV)
